Store helpers: letting someone help run your store
A store helper is someone you trust, such as a virtual assistant, who works in your store under their own sign-in. Open Store helpers from your Store menu.
- Enter their email address.
- Tick what they may do: Listings, Sales and coupons, Notes and posts, Questions and reviews, or Stats and calendar.
- They get an email link that works once and lasts 7 days. They sign in, or make their own account with the same email address (18 or older, email confirmed), and accept.
A store can have up to 5 helpers, counting invitations that are still open.
What a helper can never do
Whatever you tick, a helper cannot reach payouts and bank details, tax forms and statements, your plan and billing, your store details, pausing or closing the store, refund decisions, notices, store page settings, guest blog posts, managing helpers, account security, or any export that has buyer data. This is checked on the server for every page, not just hidden in the menu.
