Seller terms

Who can sell

You must be 18 or older. You open a store with an account whose email is confirmed, and you protect it with two-step sign-in.

Your work is yours

You keep every right to what you make. You give The Lesson Stand permission to host, show and deliver your listings to buyers, and you can take a listing down at any time. You must own, or have permission to sell, everything you list, including fonts, clip art and images.

No exclusivity

You may sell the same work anywhere else.

AI

As a seller, you are an adult. Whether you use AI in your products is up to you. We do not ban it, label it, or run AI detection. You are responsible for your listings, whatever tools you use, and spam, near-copies and misleading listings can be removed.

Plans, fees and payouts

What you keep on each plan, the monthly listing charge on Free, and the card fee are set out, with worked examples, on the Seller plans page. Payouts are made by Stripe on the 15th of each month once at least $25 is available; each sale is held for 30 days first.

The listing charge (Free plan)

You keep a card on file with Stripe. Each month, 5 cents a published listing is charged, less our share of your sales that month, and never below zero. If a charge cannot be collected we email you first; your store is paused only if it is still unpaid after 30 days, and paying brings it straight back. Buyers keep what they bought.

Refunds

You set your own refund policy, but every seller agrees to this minimum: a refund for a broken file not fixed within 7 days, a product clearly not as described, an accidental duplicate purchase, or a product removed within 30 days of purchase. Refunds come out of your balance, and our share is returned too. If you decline or do not answer a request for one of those reasons within 5 days, our team may approve it.

Sales tax and tax forms

We work out sales tax, add it at checkout and pay it where the law requires. It never comes out of your share. Stripe collects your tax details and sends year-end income forms.

Copyright

When we receive a complete copyright notice about a listing, we remove it and tell you, and you may answer with a counter-notice. Three upheld notices within 12 months pause your store.

Changes

We tell sellers ahead of time, in writing, before any rule or fee changes.
