Gift cards and store credit
A gift card is a code worth money on The Lesson Stand. Anyone can read the gift card page. To buy one you need an account with a confirmed email.
Buying a gift card
Pick $10, $25 or $50, or type any amount from $5 to $200. Add the teacher's email and, if you like, a short message. You pay on Stripe's checkout page. We then email them the code and a printable card. Gift cards never expire. If the email goes astray, you can send it again from your gift cards, up to 3 times.
Using a code
Open Store credit, type the code in the redeem box and press the button. The value goes on your account once. The same page shows your balance and every change to it.
Spending your balance
At checkout your balance is used first. You can spend a little of it or all of it, and pay the rest by card. An order paid entirely with credit makes no card charge.
Refunds
If an order you paid for partly with credit is refunded, the card part goes back to your card and the credit part goes back to your balance.
You can also earn credit by leaving reviews.
