Review guidelines

Reviews help teachers choose well, so we keep them honest. Only buyers can review, and only products they bought. Sellers cannot block or delete reviews. They can reply once, publicly, under any review, and they can report a review that breaks the rules below.

Rule 1: Not about the product

We remove a review that isn't about the product, for example one about the seller as a person, about politics, or about a different product.

Rule 2: Abusive

We remove insults, slurs, threats or harassment aimed at the seller or anyone else.

Rule 3: Private information

We remove reviews that include students' names, email addresses, phone numbers or a school's private details. Usually we ask the reviewer to edit it first.

Rule 4: Spam or ads

We remove links and reviews that promote another store or product.

Rule 5: Conflict of interest

We remove reviews by the seller of their own product, review swaps between sellers, paid reviews, and reviews written to hurt a competitor.

Rule 6: Gives away the product

We remove reviews that post the paid content, such as the answer key or the full text.

Rule 7: Illegal or copyright

We remove reviews that break the law or someone's copyright.

Rule 8: Duplicates

One review per buyer per product. Extra copies come down.

What we never remove for

We never remove a review because it is negative, low-star, or the seller disagrees with it. Honest criticism of quality, accuracy or value stays. The seller's answer is their public reply.

Refunded purchases

The review stays and shows a small "Refunded" label. A refund often happens for the very reason the review explains, so removing it would hide useful information, and the label keeps it fair to the seller.

How reports are handled

A reported review stays visible while we look at it, so reporting alone never hides a bad review. We decide within 5 business days. If a review breaks only one rule, such as including a student's name, we email the reviewer and give them a chance to edit it instead of removing it. Sellers who keep reporting honest reviews lose the ability to report.
